PROJECT DETAILS:

Air Separation Plant for Nitrogen Separation with Linde Engineering for Gasco, ADNOC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, Plan and control the project engineering Baseline, including the engineering man-hours budget, cost estimate, project execution plan, schedule and engineering risks assessment.

• Design coordination, review of all isometrics, preparation of BOQ, monitoring the shop fabrication, material management and progress monitoring.

• Review and endorse progress and final payment requests from consultants and contractors, ensuring that work has been completed in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.

• Responsible for the proper communication and coordination among Engineering disciplines, other home-office project functions, the construction organization and external contractors and Client representatives

• Responsible for ensuring that engineering complies with all appropriate Client, governmental and industry standards, practices and technical procedures as required by the prime contract.

• Evaluation of equipment / plant and manpower requirement, keep track of their productivity and update the higher management on issues.

• Prepare Job Hazard and Safety Analysis necessary for executing critical activities as well as method statements as per project / client’s specifications.

• Supervision of subcontractor, keep track of his progress and conduct meetings with him on his activities including design issues / procurement / field execution.

• Estimation and forecast of all project activities by spreading the cost as well as quantities over the project period and its tracking.

PROJECT DETAILS:

Installation 2 FT8 Pratt & Whitney Gas Turbines and Balance of Plant piping for 50MW Power plant for Sharjah Electricity Water Authority (SEWA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Studied Project specifications, design and implementation criteria, and designing systems to meet project specifications. Interpreted equipment and piping based documentation including piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), plot plans, piping isometrics, piping specifications, etc and kept track of all construction activities.

• Developed and maintained Project execution plan(PEP), conducted technical and commercial meetings and resolved issues with client’s consent.

• Estimation of manpower and equipment at different phases.

• Preparation of ITPs and System Handover Packages. Lined up all commissioning activities for plant startup keeping safety quality and scope intact.

• Monitored, tracked all construction activities, evaluated sub contractor performance and generating progress reports.

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER, DESCON ENGG’ ABUDHABI (JULY’07 TO JUNE‘09)

PROJECT DETAILS:

An EPC, ASAB Gas Development Phase-2 Project (AGD-ll) is designed to recover 6,400 TPD of NGL from the sour condensate rich gas from the existing Asab Gas Plant (AGP).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisted Project manager in managing Scope, Time, Cost, Quality for the erection of over 15000 Tons of mechanical equipment and installation / welding / hydrotesting of 185Km process piping efficiently.

• Analyzed Project specifications, design and implementation criteria, estimated manpower and resource, streamlined subcontractor and designing systems to meet project specifications. Interpreted equipment and piping based documentation including piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), plot plans, piping isometrics, piping specifications, etc and kept track of all construction activities.

• Assisted groups understanding project scope by showing to them objectives, requirements, limitations, acceptance criteria and involved risks.

• Effective Coordination and liaison with Construction, Commissioning, Project Controls, PMO and Material Management

• Produced Progress Reports and top level documents based on the Actual achievements and identifying risks and constraints involved and suggested appropriate solutions.

• Forecasted and Controlled project schedule and deviations through progress reporting, performance measurement by comparing with baseline, comparison bar charts/S-curves and variance analysis. Manpower and resource estimation based on requirements.
