Project-1(Mini project)

Title: Highway Project

Organization: B.E.C Bagalkot

Description:

The objective of this project is to carry out a survey work for the alignment of new highway near the A.P.M.C located at Shivasangam hotel. The site was rolling terrain & we carried out work in four different paths, out of these one alignment which was more beneficial to people was selected and designed according to elements.

Instrument used: Dumpy level

Title: Seepage Analysis

Description:

The quantity of water through a saturated soil mass,as well as the distribution of water pressure can be estimated by the theory of flow of fluids through porous medium using insoluble dyes which helped to differentiate between flow lines and equipotential lines.

Project-3

Title: High Performance Of Concrete using Rice Husk Ash

Organization: B.E.C Bagalkot

Description:

The project was carried to get high performance and good workability of concrete using super plasticizer and simultaneously replacing concrete by rice husk ash with 5%,10% and 15% which can be used as supplementary cementinous material for producing high strength concrete and also help in reducing the consumption of concrete. The concrete was checked for acid resistance and water absorption which gave good result.

Experiment conducted: Slump and cone method for compatibility of cement & superplasticizer

Compressive testing machine for testing the strength of specimens.

Flexural Tensile strength

• 1st place in “STATE LEVEL PROJECT EXHIBITION & CMPETITION 2009”.
