Field Service Engineer 1998 to1999 - Was initially hired to work in the metals field prior to EMG USA’s opening. Had detailed training in Wenden, Germany in metals applications and equipment maintenance. Start up of major OEM projects in North America including DRAP, PLTCM, CCM, Rolling Mills, Slitting, CPL and APL. Goal was to solidify EMG’s position in North America by offering better support.

Field Service Engineer 1990 to 1998 -Commissioned burners and guiding systems. Worked as interim Service Manager for guiding division. Worked on the Low NOX. burners and regenerative bed technologies. Commissioned large combustion projects throughout North America. Maintained existing customer installations. Visited as many as seven sites per week troubleshooting maintenance issues with burners, fuel air ratios, controls, sensor settings, hydraulic servo settings and system calibration.

Worked with OEMs to complete our sections of much larger projects. Used mechanical and electrical installation drawings. Installed new furnace sections on BAL, CAL, CCL and Galvanizing lines.
