The RD2B project is one, which seeks to give the inbound remittance customer another option to receive a transaction thereby making the process more convenient for them. When successfully implemented, this process will allow the customer to call into the GKRS call center and authorizes the transfer of his remittance funds to his bank account. The process as we have currently defined it will see customers being able to access their remittance amounts (either directly at their bank or using the ATM/Debit card) within 2 hours of their calling into GKRS on business days only.

Using this system GKRS pays their Western Union agents everyday. The system calculates the balance owed to the agents / from the agents from Voyager (WU Sql Server Database) database and generates an electronic file that will be sent to the concerned bank to make payments. The payments are applied when returned file comes from the banks. GKRS and WU agents can view their reports over network.

Responsibilities:

The project is developed for all the companies which use ValuCard for their employees to pay for gas. The system calculates the balance for each employee of a company and sends electronic payroll deduction files to the company to deduct money from the employee’s pay. The company sends a cheque to ValuCard Company representing the total amount deducted from each employee along with an electronic file with a list of the individual deductions for each employee. The system will also maintain the files that contain payment details for all organizations.
