Data Specialist/ Transition Coordinator

Ramsey County’s improvement plan emphasizes increased data management as means to meet Federal and State outcome measures. As part of that strategic initiative, assumed responsibility to increase Workforce Solution’s data quality and use. Actively participated and influenced the development of an interdepartmental data team strategic plan; shaped the discussion, development and clarification of data work team reporting policies; took active responsibility for executing those strategies. Provided instruction to County wide partner agencies in data integrity and improvement issues. Coached improvement management skills. Formulated, wrote and implemented data tickler manual. Ensured data standards and common definitions were maintained at the County level. Provided training to new data team members, including lead staff. Refined expertise navigating the complexities of data acquisition, correction and reporting resulting in multilateral staff achievement of work objectives including increased data confidence and quality. Achieved positive increase in Federal outcome measures, resulting in recouping funding of 1.2M to County Consolidated Fund.
