Responsible for operations of two men’s programs, reporting directly to the President/CEO
GENESIS HOUSE (Faith-based Men’s Work Release)
o Program Manager for this 24 man program, including nine direct reports (Caseworkers, Shift Supervisors and Foodservice/Kitchen Manager)
o Oversight of all day to day operations

o Prepared and coordinated the completion of a new Policies and Procedures Manual
o Understand and meet all requirements of the State of Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) and Department

o Prepare monthly report requirements of the President/CEO and DOC
o Monthly audit of Caseworker files of the residents assuring completion of all DOC requirements and audit DOC billing

o Marketing of the Genesis House program to all Minnesota Correction Facilities and potential residents, including attendance at all transition fairs and networking with facility chaplains, volunteer coordinators, transition coordinators, treatment program coordinators and caseworkers and regular speaking engagements at the Minimum Security Units and at the IFI program at Lino Lakes Prison . I have also attended and spoken at numerous churches in the metro area
o Interviewing/screening of all prospective residents
o Organize extracurricular activities, including attendance of professional sporting events, concerts, church programs, fishing, softball games, etc.
o Organize/coordinate celebrations of all birthdays, graduations and alumni events
o Network and solicit for potential job opportunities for residents
o Volunteer recruitment and coordination of same for Bible Studies, facility repairs and special events
o Petitioning outside agencies and individuals for gifts in kind

Founder and Sole Owner of this home delivery food business.
o Packaged, marketed and sold frozen, portion controlled, restaurant quality meats, fish and seafood items.
o Execution of purchasing and coordination of the packaging and marketing of a full line of food products to retail customers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
o Responsible for designing company literature, purchasing of all company owned vehicles, office management, bookkeeping and accounting, prospecting, establishing and maintaining retail routes.

Community involvement and experience: I am a volunteer Prison Fellowship Ministries and I have assisted in Bible study and worship services at the Hennepin County Adult Correction Facility Work Release Section. For five years I was solely responsible for weekly Bible study program and Sunday Church/Worship services three Sundays a month. At my previous church I was responsible for recruiting, scheduling and coordinating volunteers for ushering and I lead various youth programs. I have co-coached for the Plymouth Youth Soccer Association off and on since 1993. I am an avid fisherman and enjoy hunting, gardening and operation of our small farm with horses .
