I have extensive knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes, CAD drafting/modeling, quality control, process analysis, work flow and continuous improvements. I have experience in leading a team for Lean and continuous improvement projects. Working as an Industrial Engineer (Research Associate within the Industrial and Manufacturing department at NDSU) for past three years has given me ample experience in these areas apart from the knowledge of MRP, Six- Sigma, SPC and DOE gained during coursework. I have work experience in facilities design with use of CAD. I have experience in developing simulation models using ARENA (discrete event simulation software) for optimizing space.

I also worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for Total Quality Management and Workstation Design courses for IME department in NDSU. Here I gained experience in developing training/teaching materials for Facility design, Lean, Six-Sigma, Quality control and SPC techniques. Also, I had good interaction with students as a TA, instructing, supervising and solving their doubts/questions related to course work. I have the ability and am willing to obtain certification in Lean/ Six-Sigma. Also, I am an active member for professional organizations like Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), American Society for Quality (ASQ), and Society for Manufacturing Engineers. I also presented a paper and a poster to a group of audience comprising of industry/ academic professionals and students in the Industrial Engineering and Research Conference held in Reno, NV 2011 organized by IIE.
