Accountable for results as they relate to safety, compliance, cost, housekeeping, quality, waste and production while driving the tissue mill department to achieve a workplace that is incident free.
Lead the department to achieve and maintain compliance with the Mill and GP Safety Compliance Standards.

Asset Leader - Light Dry Crepe Tissue Manufacturing, Everett, WA (2007 – 2009)
Transferred to LDC Manufacturing to lead the department addressing post rebuild issues and increase Kirkland Signature Bath production to meet demand.
Accountable for all aspects of No. 1, 2, and 3 Tissue Machines operations including development and management of production and spending forecasts for Kirkland Signature Bath and Scott Bath Tissue basesheets.
Reported to the LDC Product System Leader and managed 50 employees (5 engineers and 45 hourly operators).
Completed a record one (1) Safe Year and accomplished 510 Safe Days – for all three Tissue Machines.
Led repairs and safe start-up after a catastrophic event on the TM3 Yankee Dryer Doctor assembly, mitigating future risk and injury, placing the machine in a safe-to-operate mode.
Improved crew and asset team member leadership and contributions, resulting in improved year-over-year (YoY) safety, housekeeping, department ‘order’ and production using Lean Manufacturing methods including 5S and Kaizen.
Developed and led the Lean Manufacturing ‘A3 TM1 Basesheet Improvement Plan’ increasing Converting rate-of-operation 19% providing a significant productivity improvement and YoY savings.
Achieved 2008 forecasted volume of 80,000 MTs with a TM1 - 7% and TM2 - 4% YoY productivity improvement. Tissue Machine No. 2 achieved a No.1 ranking in NA Family Care for efficiency, reliability, and realized capacity.
Asset Leader - Double Recrepe Tissue Machine No. 5, Everett, WA (2004 – 2007)
Recruited from Marinette to ‘fix’ the DRC Tissue Machine operation and improve performance to meet demand of Viva, Shop Towels, Wypall, and Economizer basesheet production.
Responsible for the DRC Tissue Machine operation including safety/housekeeping, human resources, quality, cost, productivity, and environmental compliance.
Reported to DRC Product System Leader and managed DRC Manufacturing with 42 employees (5 engineers and 37 hourly operators).
Received Family Care, Kimberly-Clark Professional and mill recognition for Reliability Improvement Plan I developed, collaborated, and led which provided a record 2006 production of 57,000 MTs, reducing YoY delay 6%, and increasing productivity 4%.
Coordinated repairs, successful start-up, and safe-to-operate condition after the Felt Roll, Yankee Hood Exhaust Fan, and Yankee Hood Supply Fan catastrophic events.
Implemented cost savings programs including low cost furnish inclusion achieving a $2.7MM YoY savings.
