Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering, University of Pennsylvania

Research focused on chemical and physical properties of PbSe nanocrystals-organic solar cells.

Used photolithography and wet etching to pattern ITO electrodes on glass.

Synthesized PbSe nanocrystals by wet-chemical methods.

Measured the I-V characteristics of PbSe nanocrystals-organic solar cells.

Designed an apparatus to measure incident photon to charge carrier efficiency (IPCE) of solar cells.

Master’s Thesis project, National Sun Yat-Sen University (June 2004)

Thesis title: Pyrolytic Study of 2-Azidocyclopentanone and 2-Azido-a-cyclohexylethanone.

Research interest: synthesized organic precursors which can generate reactive molecules by using flash vacuum pyrolysis (FVP) method, and determined mechanisms of these reactive molecules.
