Vice-President of Land Development (1993-1998) Roseville, CA
Responsible for all land development activities for a 3500 home Sun City retirement community. Engineering, contract administration, construction, planning, and various entitlements were the responsibility of the land development department. The staff consisted of 12 to 15 field and office personal. Responsible for a Fifty Million dollar budget for these activities. Assisted Vice President in all land development related activities for a 1000 acre Sun City retirement community project within the master planned community of Summerland. All of the above mentioned activities were the responsibility of the land development department.
Further experience consisted of successfully completed Master Planned projects in San Diego, CA and Phoenix, AZ.
Owned a General Engineering Contracting company and was the qualifying party for the contractor’s license in Arizona.
Have successfully managed and directed the construction of numerous projects with budgets exceeding $50,000,000.00.
Directed the land development activities for a 1500 acre master planned community in Roseville, CA. The property ultimately sold for a record $400,000,000.00 the largest entitled land sale at the time.
Attended Grand View JC in Des Moines, Iowa and Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ studying Mechanical Engineering.
