PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Logibro/Accovia Inc. Montreal, Canada 2002 - Present

• Lexo. New reservation system developed by Accovia with dynamic pricing and packaging. As a system analyst design all the objects related to finance as well as all the screens related to this process.

• On the interfaces side, design and developed different interfaces using Talend, and all transformation of XFT (European protocol similar to OTA) into Accovia distribution layer using XSLT.

• Analysis and modification of all documents generated by TRAVELINK to adapt then to the Canadian market. (Invoices, vouchers, Itineraries) using XSLT.

• Sabre Web Service. Design, implementation and support the modification done within Accovia Reservation System Respro to change from screen request mode to OTA request mode , improving the performance at the time the booking is created in Sabre as well as reducing the cost for the client.

• Shell Script. Design and developed a shell Script to split Accovia Reservation System Informix Database into two Databases.

• RexAdapter. Support and developed new functionalities in Rex Adapter, a system used by Accovia to Book in different GDS.

• Procurement Manager. An application designed for Libgo Travel that allow depending of business rules to check for availability in ITA and book in different GDS ( Sabre, Worldspan ) using ITA QPX LowFareSearch Query, OTA and Accovia RexAdapter.

• Accovia ITA gateway. Support and implementation of new functionalities.

• Fare Tool - Design, implementation and support of AFT. This tools is used by Tour Operator who has a big quantity of contracts with Airlines who files their negotiated fares, fare by rules to ITA via ATPCO as well as to upload to ITA the contract fares between TO and small airlines. Giving the opportunity to put the fare available at ITA with the desired fare marked up by the Tour Operator.

• Fare Management Tool - Design, implementation and support of the FMT. A tool designed to apply business rules to the ITA QPX query (Low fare search, Schedule search). This tool is in production for most of the Accovia clients since 2003, including Disney Orlando, California and Paris.

Havanatur Tour Operator. Havana, Cuba 1990 - 2001

• As IT Manager, developed the strategy to implement a computerized system, which accomplish all the requirement of the Tour operator head office, as well as all the branch offices around the world.

• Installed and implemented Logitours, (computerized system) in Havanatur Agencies in Cuba, Mexico, Italy, Spain, France and The United Kingdom, as well as supported them.

• Trained all staff from Havanatur agencies in Cuba and around the world on different modules of Logitours, as Sales, Administration, Product Building, and Accounting.

• Designed and developed reports to be used for different agencies of Havanatur Group working on Logitours. Developed reports using Informix 4GL 7.02 as well as created SQL script to extract, update information from the Database.

• Developed, designed and programmed a group of applications in PowerBuilder 6.0 and 8.0 using ODBC to extract information from Logitours’s Informix Database

• Provided 1st to 3rd level bilingual (Spanish/English) technical and helpdesk support for client’s network consisting of 250 workstations, 1 Sun (Solaris) server, 1 NT server , 1 Novell Server, 7 Networked Printers with Unix server
