• Managed and implemented the Smith System Advanced Driver Training Program for a regional trucking company reducing highway accidents by 26% and off highway accidents by 30% in six months while increasing actual miles driven. Reductions are calculated against fleet performance for the same time period the previous year.

• Reorganized and directed the workers’ compensation, medical service and safety functions reducing costs by 53% while improving the quality of care for injured employees and eliminating fraud. Cost reductions were achieved over four years and were attributed to aggressive claims settlement, implementing a preferred providers’ network for medical services, improved results from medical treatment, aggressive return to work philosophy and competent investigation of suspect claims in support of litigation.

• Outsourced several proprietary security officer and medical services programs and replaced them with contracted services regionally, nationally, and internationally. In one case, first year savings were $750K while measured quality of service improved.
