• Charged with maintaining close relationships with DHS, DOE, DOD and various military organizations while developing new end user solutions and products with new technology companies and academia.

• Active in pursuing funding through the Senate Appropriations Request and the Armed Services Committee Request processes.

• Secured FMS awards exceeding $72M in sales to Australia, Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Malaysia, Kuwait and Spain.

• Designed and directed the development, production and test of the F/A-18 and AV-8B Electronic Warfare suite emitter identification files software for Australia, Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Malaysia and Kuwait.

• Defined and designed to Integrated Electronic Warfare Laboratory for Finland, Switzerland, and Italy.

• Worked closely with Navy IPO and NAVAIR to develop the overall EW program model for each country.

Provided on site support for US Air Force, US Navy and multiple FMS customers involving EW Design Test and Evaluation and Operational Test and Evaluation activities. Flight testing platforms included F-16 A/B and C/D, A-10, A4M, A6E, A7E, AV-8B and C, F/A-18 A/B, C/D, E/F. Primary duties encompassed developing flight test profiles reflecting customer CONOPS along with threat engagement operations, directing flight test activities, performing pilot EW pre-briefings and post mission debriefings and recorded data reduction and analysis. Reported directly to the US Air Force and US Navy on all EW operational performance analysis. Trained domestic and international users on the operations and employment of the EW systems. Foreign countries included Denmark, Spain, Canada, Norway and Australia.

Directly supported three active US Air Force programs involving the F-15 A/B and E integrated EW suite. Was an integral part of the Northrop and Loral system development teams to resolve anomalies and integration issues.

Responsible for supporting multiple development, production and maintenance programs both in house and in the field. Designed, development a validated software specification requirements for Intermediate level systems diagnostics software for newly developed systems. Research production system operational anomalies to identify the overall failure either being software, hardware component performance or circuit design issues. Supported new system research and development for laser and millimeter wave warning systems from “breadboard” to “golden board” including system design and redesign.

Electronic Warfare Specialist Unite States Air Force

1971 to 1981

While on active duty demonstrated leadership, in-depth technical understanding and joint operations with coalition partners. Deployed to Egypt in support of “Peace Pharaoh” standing up the in-field EW reprogramming capability. In charge of NATO special projects involving the Wild Weasel reconfiguration modifications to existing ECM systems enabling new countermeasures techniques. Using the latest RF intelligence data and CONOPS designed the software reprogramming parameters and supervised the upgrades. Installed, integrated and tested “bought off” new systems being acquired for the Advanced Wild Weasel. Tasks included attending system factory training classes, validating I Level training programs and installation of I Level test facilities and providing training to I Level support personnel.
