Survey of Software Engineering (August ’08 – December ’08)

Developed a project that followed the Software Development life cycle where the professor was the customer. Developed Requirements Document, Design Document and Test Plan Documents and conducted regular meetings with the professor to gather requirements and review of the documents.

Computer Networks & Communication (January ’10-May ’10)

Developed a client-server model that simulated Ethernet with the inclusion of collision,

Multiplexing, Interrupts and inter-machine communications. This project was developed using

TCP APIs and C.

It is a digital media services company, develops interactive digital technology solutions for the publishers of books, newspapers, and magazines in the United States and internationally. The company has renowned list of clientele like Harper Collins, Hachette Book Group, New York Times, apple and more.

Responsibilities and Contributions

Creation and updating of manual and automated test cases.

Cross Browser Test automation using Cubic Test , Selenium and Ruby

Evaluated requirements, created test cases, executed Test Scenarios and collect and reported results.

Good experience in performance testing using JMeter.

Worked with developers and other personnel to reproduce bugs.

Good experience in using defect management tool for tracking purposes. Since the company follows Agile Methodology, Rally was used for the same.

Wipro Technologies Limited is a giant information technology services corporation headquartered in Bangalore, India. It is the first CMMi Level 5 certified software services company in India and the first outside USA to receive the IEEE Software Process Award.

Client Utilities Project has several modules that developed dialog based applications to access Multifunction Peripheral (MFP). The main modules were AddressBookViewer (ABV), Docmon (Document Monitor) and were developed in VC++ and MFC classes.

Responsibilities and Contributions

Lead 2 teams in “Client utilities” project with a team size of 6 in completing the deliverables, effectively for more than a year.

Application Development using VC++.

Participated in the co-ordination with onsite customers on issues and clarifications.

Worked with customers in global locations (Japan) with different time zones effectively and delivered all the projects on time and with high quality.

This Project passed for “Six Sigma” and “Lean” Processes.

Participated in source code reviews, impact test case design and other related estimates.
