Random numbers and normally distributed random variables were generated

using Box Muller, Marsaglia method and correlated random variables.

Guide: Arabin Kumar Dey, Assistant Professor, IIT Guwahati.

Real time financial data was analyzed and used for forecast using statistical

methods. Stochastic volatility time series models were used for future

predictions using software R.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

All India winner of the online stock market challenge conducted by Dalal Street in Techniche 11.

Member of the Marketing Team of Techniche, the Annual Techno-Management festival of IIT Guwahati.

Played a pivotal role in organizing 2010 year’s festival by getting many sponsors for the events being held

during the festival.

Member of Techniche 11 Events Core Team (annual techno management fest of IIT Guwahati , the

biggest of its kind in North East India).
