DESCRIPTION:

Conduct safety training for management, supervisors, safety persons, employees and sub contractor employees for accident prevention & control.

Organizing daily tool box talk meeting before starting the job and check the tools & tackles.

Periodic inspection, approval of PPE ‘S and training work force in safe and proper use of PPE’S such as dust masks, hand gloves, safety goggles, safety shoes, safety harness and safety helmet.

Conducting regular site inspection, doing safety audit to identify the hazard and to promote safe work procedure.

Motivating the workers about job safety to make safe working environment.

Arranging safety programs, conducting health safety & environments (HSE) training and safety compaction to promote safety among workers.

Taking corrective & preventing measures to avoid any accident or incident.

Inspect and test machinery and equipment, such as lifting devices, machine shields and scaffolding to make sure they meet appropriate safety regulations.

To monitor & implementation of safe activities for working at height using safety harness if they are working at above 1.8 meters height and fall arrester used while moving at height.

Check entry permit before one enters confined space for adequate light and ventilation and ensuring precautions.

Identify and test work areas for potential accident and health hazards, such as toxic fumes and explosive gas-air mixtures, as well as implement appropriate control measures.

To promote & maintain fire safety standard, uses of fire extinguishers.

To insure safety precautions for handling electricity & positive isolation.

Conduct mock drills for various emergency situation e.g. fire, major accident and natural disasters.

Investigate of incident / accident and prepare the report.

Prepare reports on violation of safety and also preparing daily & monthly safety report.

Participation in pre – commissioning and commissioning activities.

Develop occupational health and safety systems, including policies, procedures and manuals.
