2006-Present Dry Etch Sr. Engineering Maintenance Supervisor, Samsung Austin Semiconductor.

Managed operations for 22 Maintenance technicians and 327 Dry Etch chambers running 50 different processes for 3 years Plus. Dropped the Spares cost from $1.3 million a month to $480K a month by managing the cost savings projects. Also developed systems for managing PM’s and instituted point of use Check sheets for PM’s and other routine procedures creating and maintaining reduced scrap from maintenance errors.

2003-2006 Maintenance Manager, Cypress Semiconductor, Inc.

Manage 2 Fab and 1 Sort/Supervisors with 45 Technicians for the Fab, Sort, and the Facilities groups. Managed tool installs for OPTO product intro in 2004 and managed 100 percent Ramp over 2005 and into 2006.

1998-2003 Supervised 12 Technicians and managed major ASML Service contract. Stopped turnover problem that had been a problem for this area and improved equipment availability through focused improvement for this area. Also supervised the rest of Fab maintenance after 2002 reduction. Supervised 10 Maintenance technicians for the Diffusion RTP, and CMP areas 7 X 24. Improved CMP area performance through TPM and improved LPCVD performance through 6 sigma to reduce furnace aborts improving up time and reduced scrap.

Reduced Samsung Dry Etch Spares cost from $1.3M/Mo to less then $500K/Mo reducing wafer cost by over $6.00/Out
