• Roosevelt Hospital Emergency Department Expansion – Charged with guiding $19M relocation of 7 existing departments, expanding operations from 25 beds to 50+ beds including a full Radiology Suite. Effectively maintained full department operations during 2-year project, utilizing comprehensive logistical planning while maintaining ILSM and ICRA protocols. 25K square feet project was completed within-schedule and 6% under-budget even with 260 change orders.
• Rohr Nursing Home, Long-term Care Facility for Polk County, Florida Facilities Management Division – Orchestrated complete renovation of facility including removal of exterior walls, extending foundations, and reconstructing new exterior walls to increase patient room size. Optimized project quality by discovering design deficiencies, necessitating 57 change orders to comply with local building codes and Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requirements.
• Anna House, 7.5K Square Feet Daycare Facility at Belmont Park, New York – Complex project involved demolition of existing structure, design modifications, contractor selection, and daily on-site supervision. Discovered design flaw in foundation system which required extension of entire foundation for additional 6 feet to compensate for non-load bearing fill. Project was completed on-schedule (under 3-months) despite foundation design flaws.
• Mary Brennan Inn – Accountable for design, work drawing preparation, and constructing of 9.6K square feet, 200-seat state-of-the-art soup kitchen in former industrial building. Facility contained support staff offices, volunteer lounge, full-service commercial kitchen, storage areas, and thrift shop. Facility was only one of its kind in U.S., receiving coverage from The New York Times and Newsday for design and quality.
• High-end Renovations / Conversions – Directed renovations of 600K+ square feet of corporate office and retail space including conversion of 300K square feet of industrial space into Class “A” office space.
• Senior Recreation Center – Spearheaded construction of 30K square feet recreation center that combined 5 pre-engineered buildings into one structure. Project required creative field design and fabrication.
