Project Engineer (1999-Present): Managed the brake components system focusing on client satisfaction using 8D techniques. Conferred with Ford dealers throughout the country about their concerns and developed methods to resolve them. Created and delivered PowerPoint presentations to management detailing the clients’ problems, along with recommended plans of action. Held weekly meetings with manufacturing engineers to stay abreast of system issues.
• Engineering experience includes but is not limited to driveline, engine, brake system, chassis, wheels, body, and suspension.
• Completed 8D that led to the resolution of vibration issue, project resulted in a $2M save
• Led efforts to reduce excess weight
• Supervised work crew while on 6 month rotation in Manufacturing facility, targets for quality improvements were created and met on time
• Manufacturing Process Flow implementation for tooling design for assembly, over saw introduction of design to manufacturing stages. Insuring that design met engineering specifications

• Initiated and managed a project that saved $3M a year by replacing disposable shipping pallets with stronger ones that were returned to the manufacturing department after each parts delivery and used again.
