Experience

Analysis:

• While operating as the squadron’s only Intelligence Analyst, provided analytical support and products to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 during three separate deployments to the Horn of Africa. While deployed, provided threat briefings on local insurgent groups and their capabilities. The squadron also participated in multi-national African Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) missions.

• Served as Intelligence Chief for Marine Aircraft Group 16 while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Provided threat briefs to rotary wing squadrons as well as topographic map support.

• Served as an Intelligence Analyst with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion while deployed to Iraq. Tasks included conducting tactical debriefs, writing daily Intelligence Summaries, producing target packages, and providing the battalion with adequate mapping and topographical support.

Communication:

• Has clearly and concisely conducted numerous oral intelligence briefings and presentations at various echelons of command both ground and aviation, without incident. This has provided commanders with a better understanding of issues concerning National Security and enabled them to make more informed decisions on relevant issues.

• Was heavily relied upon to interpret Naval Security publications and advise command Security Manager on all things relating to personnel security as well as handling of classified materials.

Technical:

• Demonstrated proficiency in using automated analytical tools in tactical and controlled environments. These programs include Microsoft Office Applications, Intelligence Analyst Console, Intelligence Analyst Notebook, Arc GIS, PISCES, BATS, HIIDE, and various service specific tools such as Marine net and Command and Control PC.

• Demonstrated proficiency in navigating various classified networks including SIPR, JWICS, and networks maintained by other intelligence agencies. Proficiency in the navigation of these networks has increases productivity and effectiveness of analytical products.
