His experience includes networking, physical security systems, biometrics, mobile telephony and information security. He has directed many investigations regarding fraud in financial institutions and industry, and is risk analyst for London reinsurers in Latin America. Has certifications like GCFA (GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst) from SANS institute, Lead Auditor for ISO 27001, certified by BSI (British Standards Institute), member in good standing at HTCIA (High Technology Crime Investigation Association – www.htcia.org), ALIFC (Latin American Association for financial crime and fraud investigators – www.alifc.org) and ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners – www.acfe.org). He has focused in fraud prevention, detection and investigation, risk analysis, incident response and computer forensics. He is also the executive director for antifraude.org (www.antifraude.org a fraud awareness program) and founder of Grupo Schart Latinoamerica, leading awareness and security programs and services.
