Projects Description:

Agent Resource Site (ARS) application supports the 3 different kind of agents selling the MetLife Auto & Home Policies (IA, IM and Retailers). The kinds of policies supported are Auto, Home, Boat and Pelp-Umbrella. In new business, the agent collects the info from a customer calling in and provides him a Quote first. Then when the customer decides to go for the policy, the application site lets the agent to register the customer and provide the Policy # back. And the application also supports the servicing for all the existing policies/customers. This phase of performance testing was to determine the performance of the application with new code drop in the major functionalities. Image & Workflow (I&W) application supports in keeping track and processing of the documents submitted by the customers on claims. It has the filenet software sitting on it, which helps us scan all the supporting documents and attach them to the respective claim #s in the system, which avoids the need to hold on to the paper work anymore. The Law now permits the Insurance companies to do that to avoid accumulation of claims and effective processing. The kinds of claims that are supported are Auto and Home types. Once the documents and scanned and attached to the claims, the corresponding update is done simultaneously done in another application by name Charlie which has the online claim applications. New modules are added to the application to support the Service Center functionality under the name AHSO and this phase of testing is to determine the performance of that module before deployment into production.

Wealth Management Solution is a complete package of Core, Lending, Mutual Funds, Special Products and Brokerage modules. The above modules are web-based proprietary products of Polaris Software lab. It addresses the versatile needs of the banking industry ranging from customer service to overall management of the bank activities. It is developed using cutting edge technology with an inbuilt security management system and provides a high degree of parameterization capability making its implementation highly flexible. Sapphire is a stock options management application used to handle various stock related services for various clients (HP, Citi etc). In order to keep up with the expected increase in customer base, the scalability aspect of the application was tested and fine tuned for better performance. Core is one of the modules in Intellect suite of products proprietary to Polaris Software Lab. It’s a web-based application targeted for the NBAD employees at various branches to support customer service activities. The agreed up on SLA is 5 seconds across 16 Business processes at the rate of 20 tps.

Projects Description:

The project at HomeDepot was to test the new nation wide enterprise application SOSI for its performance. The project was divided into three stages. In stage 1 we tested Vanilla Siebel application in the testing environment emulating the production kind of network and system to fine tune the Siebel, DB Connect and network settings to support the target load (5500 users). Same cycle of testing with new set of scripts where used in stage 2 (Prototype Testing) and stage 3 (Production system testing). ODYSSEY-2 project at AT&T is to test the enterprise CRM application – ODYSSEY 2 with various month volumes on multiple releases. I was involved in the performance testing process of Release 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1, 2.3 from the beginning to end.
