The project included the replacement of local 8-inch gravity sewers providing local sewer service to residents along the project route. It also included the installation of large diameter (24-inch and 36-inch) gravity sewer constructed via the microtunneling method to reduce neighborhood construction disruption.

Bahia Vista Street Roadway Improvements, Sarasota, FL., Served as a Technical Specialist to provide planning, preliminary and final engineering design for widening and realignment of an existing 1.8 miles of 2-lane rural minor arterial roadway to a 4-lane divided urban roadway with a major urban at-grade intersection.

The project included 24,000 feet of pipe ranging from 2-inch to 6-inch and one master lift station, which was designed with an 8’ diameter wetwell with submersible pumps.

Tami Sola Sidewalk, Sarasota, FL., Served as Technical Specialist for the design of the Tami Sola Sidewalk a 5-foot wide neighborhood sidewalk, adjacent to an elementary school. Handicap ramps were designed to meet ADA standards. The sidewalk is 2,500 lf with concrete driveway aprons.

Henderson Creek Watermain Improvements, Naples, FL., Served as Technical Specialist for the design of water main improvements for approximately 285 residential homes in Henderson Creek Subdivision. Provided preliminary and final design, permitting, bid documents, and construction phase services.

Hurricane Damage Assessment and Restoration, FEMA, East Coast of Florida in 2004-2005 – Hurricane Ivan. Evaluation of hurricane damage to public works facilities and cost estimating for repairs of damaged facilities throughout the City of Okeechobee and the County of Okeechobee, Florida.

Hurricane Damage Assessment in 2004-2005 -- Hurricane Frances, Coordinated with the Indian River Mosquito Control District in Indian River, Florida regarding the Hole-in-the Wall Island project. The Hole-in-the Wall Island is a 120-acre mangrove wetland management island for rotational impoundment management. The repairs necessary included approximately 6,900 linear feet of earthen dike and 5,200 linear feet of coquina rock revetment.
