Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Reclamation Project – Field Engineer 8/4/10 - 9/27/10

Experience includes field survey operations for dredging operations in the Mississippi River to transport product to designated sand berm areas in the Gulf of Mexico. Duties include hydrographic surveys to mark designated dredging areas, volume soundings for scow capacities, report daily progress for quality control and efficiency. Create CAD drawings of survey areas for dredging and for dump locations.

Experience includes captain of a 25ft. vessel involved in directing and participating in the safe handling and safe disposal of oil, tar and other contaminants collected from the water caused by the BP Deep Horizon Oil Spill. Activities include: handling boom, nets or other collection apparatus disposing of oil soaked contaminated materials.
