Description : EZPay Dev Environment with as web server/app server and as server for Oracle RDBMS, source code version control, to develop and to unit test application code does not totally apply to the Tech Refresh POC Project because the requirements are different. The objectives in the Tech Refresh POC Project are to migrate to the latest version of Oracle, Linux, C++ , to find another alternative for data replication where the primary database server and the DR database server are located in data centre at different states, explore ways to improve system scalabilities with maximum resource utilization, gauge performance potential of the new architecture and determine feasibility of Intel LINUX infrastructure. The approach is to apply a 3-tier architecture. A 3-tier architecture has web/app server, an application server, a database server with a least 3 physical machine. This will enable EZPAY to scale the system according to how it will be used and give the ability to setup server base on functionality and scale according. The strategy to use for building the EZPAY Tech Refresh POC environment is to acquire new hardware recommended by the TI Engineering Group and to utilize FAST VSI-DEV infrastructure for quick start development.

Description : Wells Fargo India Solution (WFC), a diversified financial sevices company- Proving Banking, Insurance, Investments, mortgage and consumer finance through almost 6,000 stores and internet (www.wellsfargo.com) across North America and elsewhere internationally. This Project is basically a migration project based on c/c++ Sybase to Oracle Call Interface. In there we have to check all function, data type with needed similar OCI API. OCI enables C/C++ coding to utilize the full range of Oracle database Operations, including SQL statement Processing and Object manipulation. With this migration, High performance applications through the efficient use of system memory and network connectivity will be generated. OCI provides the functionality of API to design a scalable, multithreaded application that can support large numbers of users securely. There are some modules like, smbloanstat, smbglobal, Passgen, smbcnfig etc.
