1st Place in ASME District D 2009 Student Design Competition, Mars Rocks! (http://districts.asme.org/districtD/)

The purpose of this project was to construct a radio-controlled vehicle that would have the ability to pick up small rocks, while conforming to the given constraints by ASME.

Successfully designed and constructed a working vehicle that met all design constraints. After winning ASME district D, qualifies for entry in the national finals in Florida Nov. 2009.

1st Place in FM Radio Design and Construction competition for the Circuits II course (EECE 311).

Two classmates and I built an FM radio. We were chosen for 1st place due to our selection of the best possible design as well as construction and presentation of the equipment.

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Experience with LogicWorks, Cadence PSpice, MATLAB, TK Solver, LabVIEW, EAGLE Schematic/PCB, FreeRTOS.

Experience with Microchip MPLAB development suite, along with PIC 8-bit and 16-bit microcontrollers.

Experience with ARM microcontrollers (NXP 21XX), using Eclipse suite with OpenOCD.

Implemented a PID position control project (MECA 482) using a PIC microcontroller in C programming language.

Currently working on a microcontroller based GPS data logger for a motorcycle with integrated tachometer & speedometer.

Experienced Linux & Windows user.
