• Designed and coordinated electrical and mechanical projects using Mitsubishi and GE controllers for high-speed production equipment. Projects included high-speed visual inspection stations, continuous control packaging and finished package conveyor flow control.
• Supervised technicians, mechanics and machine builders during the building, installation and start-up phases of projects in the range of $1,000 to $100,000.
• Composed courses for electronic technicians and other engineers on using Allen Bradley PLC’s and other hardware.

• Software engineer for electrical systems integrator. Worked closely with electrical designer and Man Machine Interface designers to develop project requirements.
• Incorporated information from clients, P&IDs and clients’ own electrical standards to prepare job costs. Projects would range from $10,000 to $1,000,000 in size for Fortune 100 companies in the pharmaceutical, food processing, steel and automotive industries located in the United States and abroad.
• Processes included continuous batching, extruders, continuous smelting, fillers and canners and sterilizers.
• Upon completion of startup I would train the operators and plant engineers on using the process and how to troubleshoot the system if any problems arose.
• Worked closely with OEMs and other integrators to develop PLC coding and MMI standards.

• Developed requirements for bids on projects in the $5,000 to $50,000 ranges. After winning bids I was responsible for all aspects of the job completion including specifying equipment, designing electrical schematics, writing PLC code, complete lab testing and field start-up.
• Projects included multi-station dial assembly machines, rotary grinders and water filtration systems for large automotive manufacturers.
