WORLD CLASS / LEAN MANUFACTURING TEAM LEADER (SUPERVISOR)

Primary focus of this position was combining the lean manufacturing system with the World Class manufacturing system which concentrates on accountability and quality in a continuous lean environment. Duties includes lead problem solving, setting and implementing SQDCM goals, utilizing Value Stream System to eliminate non value added activities, cost / benefit analysis, preparing end of shift report, creating and implementing SWI (Standard Work Instructions), cross training team members and implementing the Royal Tool Monitory System which decreases MTBTC (Mean Time Between Tool Change) within a shift, lead daily morning meetings to highlight previous day production accomplishments and shortfalls, manage and coordinate vacation and personal days, interpret and apply daily budget, leading, coaching, & developing employees, and participate in weekly departmental meetings with Plant Manager to set department targets.
