• Gained in-depth understanding of lignocellulosic biomass conversion in CSTR - steam explosion and alkaline pretreatment.

• Experienced enzymatic hydrolysis & fermentations: aerobic and anaerobic, oxygen, pH, temperature, and sugar controlled.

BIODIESEL-NEW ZEALAND - Christchurch, New Zealand 05.2010– 08.2010

• Doubled production without added capital; experimented on pilot plant to implement changes, worked on PFTR washing.

• Created PFD’s for plant. Researched technology, brought scientific instruments online & standardized their procedures.

• Conducted independent safety & operations audit that resulted in major positive procedural and structural changes.

• Gained in-depth understanding of biodiesel production. Proposed & brief economic analysis on methanol recovery (distillation).

OHIO AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER - WOOSTER, OH 05.2008 – 08.2008

• Research on various pelletized fuel’s combustion in a continuous reactor (Fluidized Bed Combustor), highly independent.

• Studied efficiency of combustion by analyzing NOx, CO2, CO, O2, etc, from changing feed rates & operating temperatures.
