PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2010-2011 Sonic Drive-In District Manager, South Carolina

2008-2010 Director of Operations for a new franchise During this time I opened five stores within eighteen months. I helped oversee the construction process of the stores and was responsible for reviewing and making changes to the architectural plans for all of the stores. I also designed a new kitchen layout. I was instrumental in negotiating with the four biggest radio stations, in the Philadelphia Market, a media plan that saved more than $250,000.00 over what our media partner was able to do. I was also instrumental in developing an employee handbook and structuring the company policies and procedures. I grew the company from one store and 70 employees to five stores and over 300 employees in eighteen months.

2008 New Store Opening Team Leader I recruited and trained a group of over twenty that was the “go to” team of choice for the New Market Franchisees, primarily in the Northeast. During this time I helped set new standards and expectations for how a new, high volume opening should be executed. I helped open many of the highest volume stores with great success and exceptional service times. Including; Bensalem PA, Waretown NJ, Rio Grande NJ and Kennewick WA. During this time I was responsible for opening 13 new stores, all with great success. In my career I have personally opened 24 new restaurants.

1996-2008 I started my career as an assistant manager in Etowah TN. Within six months I was promoted to General Manager of a Sonic in TN. After two years I again was promoted to Area Supervisor of eight stores in state of Tennessee. I was also a member of the Co-Op Board.

1992-1996 The United States Army; I joined the Army and was assigned to the 101st Airborne in Fort Campbell Ky. During this time I was selected for Air Assault School and Ranger School. My next assignment was with the United States Army Honor Guard, located at Arlington National Cemetery. During this time I was selected to become a member of the Secretary of Defenses’ Personal Honor Guard, at the Pentagon.

1988-1992 United States Marine Corps; I joined the Marine Corps fresh out of High School. Upon graduating boot camp at Parris Island I was selected to be part of the, Hostage/ Rescue, Anti-Terrorist Teams, Europe. After arriving back in the United States at the end of 1991, I was sent to the First Marine Division and participated in Operation Desert Storm and the taking of the Kuwaiti International Airport.
