Turbine Erection- Responsible for complete turbine erection work as per the Standards approved “Field Quality Plan “requirement of the turbine manufactures i.e. Siemens Turbine manufacturing Co. ltd. Germany, Vadodara.
Alignment- Taking the various readings like Rotor journal run out, Coupling face run out, float value, thrust float value, steam flow path, Thermal clearances, axial & radial readings, after the necessary correction align the rotors & meet the design requirements.
QA/QC- All the activities are witnessed by the quality persons, fulfilling their quality requirements & maintaining the protocols for each activity for the purpose of future maintenance work.
Commissioning & Test- After completion of erection activity needs to commission & test the system i.e. Vacuum pulling test of condenser, Air tightness test of Generator, Hydro test the water cooling lines, H2 Gas filling in to the Generator & Oil Flushing of lube oil lines.
