Database Migration project was a very challenging task of migrating around 700 databases from ASE11.9.x on Solaris to ASE 12.5.3 on Linux. It covered a large number of Morgan Stanley global databases across various business units. The phase-I of project included extraction and analysis of DB information and development of a strategic plan for the actual migration.
