• Extraordinary knowledge of Alternative to Domestic Violence (ADV) and strong advocate for victims of
domestic violence.
• Strong knowledge of District Attorney’s office and child support services.
• Great knowledge of family court proceedings, terminology, and temporary restraining orders (TRO).
• Experience with Child Protective Services and the processes used for making reports.
• Strong knowledge and exceptional ability to assess resources of agency and organizational programs
especially for social, medical and economic purposes.
SPECIALTIES
• Counseling individuals with drug and alcohol addictions, including adolescents in group homes.
• Developing individualized treatment plans for children, adolescent and adult clients.
• Working with clients with an Axis II and Dual diagnosis.
• Working with low-income families, and the homeless.
• Educating individuals about domestic violence, while relaying empathy and advising victims/witnesses of
available programs, services and resources.
• Assessing resources of agency and organizational programs especially for social, medical and economic
purposes.
