GSM & WCDMA EXPERIENCE:

• Four month work with ERICSSON INDIA LTD in RAJSTHAN on BSNL 3G survey as a RF Engineer.

• Two month work with ERICSSON INDIA LTD in Guwahati on Aircel GSM as a RF & TND Engineer.

• 16 month work with HUAWEI TELECOMMUNICATIONS in U.P (west) on Reliance GSM as a DT Engineer.

• 15 Day tranning with ERICSSON INDIA LTD in RAJSTHAN on BSNL 3G(WCDMA) as a RF Engineer.

Job Responsibilities for 2G,2.5G & 3G :

• Neighbor’s Addition & Deletion in a particular Network.

• Measurement of physical parameter like Latitude, Longitude, Azimuth, Tilt, Height and BTS Configuration.

• Primary optimization for verifying existing coverage, sites design objectives, pointing coverage holes.

• Optimization by Antenna down tilt and reorientation.

• RF Drive test for optimization of the GSM networks. (TEMS,8.0Tool,GENEX PROBE,) Collection of drive test logs using TEMS investigation & GENEX PROBE in GPRS enabled 900 MHz and 1800 MHz network for Migration and up gradation of the sites.

• Analyzing and report generation of drive test files using TEMS investigation, GENEX PROBE Responsible for the analysis and optimization of the network for the overall improvement of the KPI (Key Performance Indicators).

• Analization of weak coverage areas and providing solutions

• Collection of GPRS Testing (Data Drive) using TEMS Investigation 8.0 & GENEX PROBE in 1800 MHz Network

• Analyzing of BTS Swapping.

• Defining the azimuth of antennas.

• Planning tools like MAPINFO to determine network Problems, Poor Coverage.

• Proposing New Site to Overcome Coverage Patches & filling Capacity areas.

• Auditing of New Sites and Verifying Hardware, Tilt, Antenna height & Orientation according to the Planning Database.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR 2G,2.5G & 3G UMTS OPTIMIZATION :

• Detailed post processing and analysis of drive log files. Suggest various hard and soft changes to achieve target KPI’s for assigned clusters

• Monitor KPI parameters like SD and TCH Drop, SD and TCH Assignment, HOSR and DLQ and optimized the network to meet these parameters to threshold level.

• Analyze the performance of IRAT enabled Node B’s through counters, parameters and post processed results of drive logs.

• Neighbor Cell List Optimization and prepare Neighbor List for new sites. Report generation in prescribed formats.

• Parameter Consistency Check, voice, video, data (packet) call & packet call speed etc.

• Analysis with the help of Ec, EcIo, Pilot Pollution, UE Tx Power Plots available after Drive Test and Post Processing.

• Preparation of the format for Worst Cell List on RNC, Cluster and Cell Level and Generate Worst Cell List Analyzing of BTS Swapping by scrambling code of all sectors.

• Defining neighbors of each site.

• Retrieve and analyze various counters related to Accessibility, Retain ability, Cell availability, Congestion Control, Admission Control and others to check for network performance. Identification of correct Handover Targets for sites on all major & secondary traffic arteries of UMTS.

• Analyze and Troubleshoot CS & PS Worst Cells for assigned Clusters on a weekly basis using e-dat tools.

• Analyzing the performance of IRAT enabled Node B’s.

• Troubleshooting customer complaints. Detailed post processing and analysis of drive log files.

• Remove the pilot pollution by optimized sites.

• Monitor and analyze the daily performance reports/statistics from OMC and provide possible solutions like parameter adjustments.
