Manage the small team of QA engineers that make up the QA dept. of the fifth largest social network in the United States. Delegate and coordinate test plans and procedures. Responsible for creating test plans and scripts, as well as logging, assigning and tracking bugs. Considerable expertise in GUI, Web and API testing, including iPhone apps, with a strong emphasis on ease-of-use and user experience. Work closely with upper management, developers and project managers from project conception to zero-defect release. Constantly evaluate procedures and best practices to ensure effective testing. Built a library of QA procedures and automated regression scripts using Watir.

* SQA Tester II, Tracfone Wireless; Miami, FL – Feb 2008 to July 2008

Carried out quality assurance procedures across various platforms––including Web, VR and internal Customer Service interfaces––for the largest pre-paid wireless provider in the United States. Developed test plans and matrices to test the functionality of new products and code changes, as well as conducting full regression testing. Responsible for logging and tracking defects using Mercury Test Suite. Wrote, edited and ran SQL script using TOAD. Worked closely with developers and PMs to help ensure projects are smoothly and congenially completed on time.

* QA Analyst and Technical Writer, NBC’s iVillage Total Health; Boca Raton, FL — June 2006 to February 2008

Served as QA lead on a major Website redesign and content migration project. Developed test plans, test matrices and technical documentation for recently designed Vignette CMA system. Logged and tracked defects using Rational Clearquest and Bugzilla, while working closely with both in-house and off-site development teams.
