Role: Defect Manager & Usability Tester

Responsibilities:

- Assigning all bugs logged by the testers to the responsible Development /Support team, arranging Working Sessions with them over Q-messenger/ Conference calls/ E-mails in order to get the bugs fixed.

- Coordinating with various teams on a daily basis to be updated about the latest changes on the applications which involve new requirements coming up from client side, new change requests emerging, availability or downtime of the Environment, installation of upgrades on the Environment, planned or unplanned bounces made on the Environment.

- Streamlining a process to be followed by all team members in order to achieve a base lined workflow for managing the defect bucket.

- Coordinating with client-side business team in order to explain the change in requirement to resolve upcoming bugs.

- As a usability tester, analyzing specification provided by the clients, designing and execution of test scenarios used to carry out Usability Testing to ensure that the Software meets customer requirements.

- Identifying, logging & getting resolution of bugs found for usability testing.

- Executing the Test Scenarios manually by comparing the application screens with the base lined CRD (Content Related Document).

- Carrying out Ad-Hoc testing to identify early bugs in the software.
