While performing contractual telecommunications engineering for the above companies, planned and designed Verizon’s FTTP work orders in various states. Responsibilities included:
• Field work, measurement and documentation of aerial and buried plant, field measurements for FiOS cable, bore details, hand holes, distribution hub placements.
• Site surveys were performed when required and included placement of fiber hubs, underground utilities and right-of-ways.
• Partnered with cities, private communities and apartment complexes in determining their future needs as well as with local, county, state and federal agencies insuring proper permitting procedures were followed.
• Lead 12 man engineering team in planning, designing and engineering major fiber feeder routes, HUB locations and distribution projects related to FTTP while with Ameriss.
