Maintenance Supervisor/Line Support Leader/Front Line Leader
Directed the daily maintenance operation of the Leaf Processing Facility research
and development building. Scheduled testing, maintenance, installations, and
removal of equipment. Worked with a team containing electricians, pipe-fitters,
maintenance mechanics, and millwrights. Coordinated repairs and collaborate with
vendors to ensure the continued operation of the process.
Coach, train, and direct the workforce in the day to day operations of the
production floor to assure that a quality product is being produced for our
customers. Serve the operators to make certain they have everything they need in
order to perform effectively. Currently I manage over 40 employees in the filter
making department.

Teamed with engineering to run the carbon flavoring process in bay 9. This
process supports the filter making operation for the reduced harm products
currently under development in R&D. One of 3 individuals in the factory who knows
how to operate the process.

Direct, monitor, and control actual shipboard tests for nuclear class
carriers(i.e. Nimitz, Eisenhower, Enterprise, etc.). Record and match all
data with test requirements to ensure conditions have been met.
Develop, review, and revise test procedures, instructions, and related test
documents used to support test evolutions. Responsible for
technical direction of testing activities performed by trades.
Investigate/troubleshoot problems and issues identified during testing.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Trades, Vendors, and customer
representatives to provide and receive technical assistance to help resolve test
operational issues.
Conduct on-site engineering evaluations (ship checks) of nuclear propulsion
systems to determine the scope and nature of proposed work, and to assist in
planning.
Compile data, perform computations, analyze results, and prepare reports to
assist in the resolution of technical problems.
