As a programmer analyst, involved with coordinating the technical and production support aspects as per the business requirement in the GARPAC system. This business application system consists of various modules such as design, projection/production, SCM, import, order entry, allocation, packing and shipping.
Taking care of EDI (e-commerce) connected to GARPAC, dealing with more than 40 retail clients with various electronic documents. To mention a few documents, 850, 860, 856, 810, 812, 820, 832, 852, 869, 870, 852,816, 830, 864, 211, 855, 753,754, 214 … with 45 clients (accounts). The EDI versions that are worked are 3010, 3040, 4010, 4030 and 5010.
Setting up of labels such as ucc128, shipping and RFID and process of VICS BOL using a third party utility using ODBC connectivity for data transfer. Also, work on some hardware aspects of the AS400 with IBM support.
In charge of setting up EDI and maintaining a separate application, EDI support for Fashion Avenue Knits as per their business requirement.
Active participant in system study, design, spec generation, quick coding, implementation and managing of a new project AEEP – Atlast ERP Enhancement Project which is a new system undergoing a full change (.net concept).

As a systems analyst involved in the enhancement of Purchase order module for special orders and customer address ship to. This serves the ability to print a customer’s address as to Ship To address on a drop-ship special order on the PO entry. This also provides the facility to print a third-party installer’s address as to ship to with the customers address as the final destination.
Was responsible for Dekor billing (invoice) activity to write the conversion programs from JDA application (AS/400) to JDE Application (NT), which primarily handles, the Accounts Receivables. The interface included data mining and posting against the receivables, which handles millions of records on the day-to-day transactions.
Developed to recognize the store level cash balance for sales audit. This has the register accountability to compare the revenue vs. payment/refund accounts for a given period, which gives the information about what Dekor’s payment, is over or short at the store level. This included manipulating merchandise sales, employee sale, returns, tax, payment transactions, etc.
Was responsible to develop the month to date (PTD) and year to date (YTD) receipt, retail price and cost for the Vendor analysis at the division and sub department level.
Involved to run the physical inventory process based on the current price at the store level. This involved uploading the current price of the SKU with UPC, which is maintained at the store.
Was involved in the Change in price event. This provides the ability to process the new price triggered by an event on the price change on a week prior basis. The process is set to run on daily basis that provides the Design-R store level price information for the day-to-day activity.
Coordinated the EDI system process, which included, initiating the purchase order, purchase order changes, receiving invoices and matching them against the account payables batch process. The process included adding new functionalities to the JDA system. Also, conducted a study to develop the Advance shipping notices.

Managed the BPCS application and provided help desk application support to the corporate team. Was responsible for converting (which included table conversion and program conversion) S/36 applications to the AS/400. Also provided entry-level administration on the AS/400. Additionally, as part of EDI, maintained the daily communication with trading partners on the Gentran system. This included sending purchase orders, resending purchase order changes and receiving invoices.
3B. Ruan Transportation, IA, USA 04/00 – 09/00 April 2000 thru September 2000
Coordinated EDI (Premenos & IBM Expedite AS/400) with set up of trading partners, which included additional data mapping and maintenance of documents. This included the load tenders, order confirmation, shipment status message and transportation invoice. Also, enhanced the data mapping and added new features to the home grown application. Additionally provided on-line support for the production issues.

ALIS - Sun Accounts (Accounting Interface and Customer Interface)
Responsibility included data mining and migration of data from the remote AS/400 system to the remote Sun account system.
EDI/400 for DELMAS - U.S Customs
Involved with the data mapping, setting up the trading partner relationship, and monitoring the flow of data and generated reports for the disposition of their vessels.
EDI mapping on various documents such as, purchase order, purchase order change, invoice, advance shipping notice, load tenders, order confirmation, shipment status, transportation invoice, terminal operations and intermodal ramp activity, U.S Customs Manifest, ocean confirmation, ocean status details, U.S customs status information and Acknowledgment. This expertise also includes data mapping, set up of the trading partner relationship, maintaining vendor contact database and monitoring them on the EDI system.

4A. AMP Inc., & Sandoz Pharmaceuticals August 1998 thru March 1999
AMP Inc.,
As an analyst programmer, provided solutions in world-class financials by enhancing and customizing the AMPICS (Customized version of BPCS) on their purchase order entry system, inventory valuation, accounts payables, accounts receivables and taxation, which ultimately affects the general ledger books.
Sandoz Pharmaceuticals
Was active participant of the team to provide year 2000 solution on BPCS. Also, was responsible for changes to upgrade BPCS. Upgraded BPCS from version 4.0.2 to version 4.0.5 was done.
4B. Nestle December 1997 thru July 1998
Provided customization of the BPCS system, which was crucial in enhancing market specific options for Nestle. This was done primarily in the Manufacturing Data Management process.
The major focus was on the Inventory for Market specific options. This included Inventory valuation, Item movement, Insurance maintenance, Production ticket reprint, Split period costing and various adhoc reports.
In addition designed and implemented an independent inventory application that kept track of stocks on-line, for the Information System (IS) department, across the country.

As a team player, provided a year 2000 solution on BPCS for the company.
