My Job description includes:

Concept Design – Cab tilting mechanism for LCV with concept design and calculations, Design of Cab Suspension system for LCV, Seating foam pads using surfaces and solids, Wiper adapter, Step less ear clamp, Handles for butterfly valves.

Benchmarking – Cab suspension systems, Automotive seating foam pad Manufacturing technologies, Design inputs required for foam design, Tests required/performed on Foam.

Legacy Conversion – Preparation of parametric 3d models from different input formats such as JPEG, PDF, GIF, TIFF, etc. for Pullzall, Power Pivot, Single piston Compressor and V-Twin Compressor containing parts such as motor, gears, carrier gears assemblies, planetary gears, intercooler, crank case, cylinder, connecting rod, handles, counter weight and Piston parts.

Reverse Engineering – CVH (Constant Vacuum (locking) Hub Assembly), Design modification of Front Axle Disconnect assembly (FAD), Design modification of Industrial Winch assemblies for all these .step file was input, 3d parametric model and drawings were created.

Manufacturing drawings and BOM generation – Manufacturing drawings and BOM were generated for Industrial Winch assemblies, SPI Compressor, V-Twin Compressor.

GD & T– All the manufacturing drawings were followed GD & T. Quality Check is made for the drawings made by the other team members and the check lists were filled.

Clash analysis – For large assemblies clash analysis is made to check the clashes between the parts/components

Catalogue Preparation - Development of 3D preliminary design catalog of all the EQUIPMEMT & PIPING systems

Under the term of item are included pumps, drums, Heat exchanger, branches, elbows, pipes, fittings, bolts & nuts, flanges, gasket, valves, instrumentations. This task includes:

• The creation of template parts

• The creation of typed parts

• The creation of associated design table

• The creation of 2D drawing of the typed parts

• The creation of 3D models
