Professional Experience
Statoil Winter Drilling Program, Conklin, Alberta
Wellsite Geologist, January 2012 – Till date
• Supervised drilling and coring operations on the well sites within the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin - 12 Wells till date
• Picked casing and coring points in consultation with the drilling supervisor and office geologist to ensure integrity of casing shoes and full recovery of cores over reservoir objectives
• Supervised well logging operations and personnel to ensure high data quality in accordance to the drilling program and interpreted logs to pick formation tops
• Established stratigraphic correlation with adjacent offset wells to monitor the progress of drilling
• Collected, prepared, described and interpreted drill cutting samples to extract geological information
• Prepared daily and final reports to keep the drilling supervisor and office geologist updated with drilling progress
Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario
