Implementation of hybrid Active Power filter using Single Switch Active and Passive Filter

The scope of this work is to implementing hybrid power filter using single switch for Minimizing input distortion current in a single phase system feeding a non linear load Active power filter is injecting equal and opposite current to mitigate the distortion current Shape, The supply current to a sinusoidal form and in phase with the supply voltage. The Single switch parallel active filter is used to reduce losses, stress and also the cost. A parallel active power filter and a passive filter is used to reduce both higher order and low order harmonics.
