Duties:

Data mining, cleaning and processing and report writing. Develop tables and charts for the purpose of analysis, advanced Excel features, and the use of SQL, Survey scientific landscape on system’s biology and give presentations, help in formulating internal requirements, meet with major hardware, software, validation and customized solutions providers, evaluate proposal, integrate hardware and software resources (Linux cluster, servers, workstations), Interact with group leaders and other researchers in the health sector on the subjects of bioinformatics, Tools (blast/fasta/clustal/web, EMBOSS, etc) automation using Perl to digest and dissect predicted gene, Write computer programs to solve selected bioinformatics problems when tools automation proves in insufficient. Developed novel strategies and algorithms identifying drug able protein-protein interaction targets. Database construction and organizing to provide comprehensive information on regulated protein turnover.
