Cambridge Ethanol Project, Cambridge, Nebraska.
Oversaw 350 staff in $100M corn-fed ethanol plant.
Performed key role in draft and enforcement of site
safety plan, as well as orientation and all other on-
site training for Electrical Engineers, owner’s
operators, and subcontractors. Headed Safety
Committee, behavior-based safety process, and staff of
2 on 1-year project.
* Project Environmental Health & Safety Manager, Genoa
Sand Plant, Genoa, Nebraska. Optimized activities of
80 staff on construction of steel and conveyors in
$25M sand reclamation plant. Provided training and
oversight for safety-related issues, and ensured
compliance with OSHA, state, and local laws.

Texas. Monitored actions of 250 Electrical Engineers
during construction of 2 sulphur recovery units.
Conducted site orientation and safety training,
managed Workers Compensation issues for company and

Constructors. Directed more than 200 Electrical
Engineers on more than 20 crews working over 3 states
through installation of underground water, sewer, and

* Project Safety Manager, Wise County Power Project,
Poolville, Texas. Drove crew of 500 and staff of 4
Safety Professionals to 1,000,000 safe man-hours at
$300M merchant power plant.
* Project Safety Manager, Hayes Energy Project, San
Marcos, Texas. Supervised crew of 700 and staff of 7
to 1.7 million man-hours with 0 lost-time accidents in
project for $360M power plant for Alstom Power and
American National Power.
* Project Safety Manager, DOE SPR Sites, Winnie,
Texas, and Plaquemine, Louisiana. Guided 400 staff on
2 sites, as well as 2 staff, to 500,000 man-hours with
0 lost-time accidents in project involving upgrade of
piping for moving of crude oil product to U.S.
Strategic Petroleum Reserve, as well as addition of
heat exchanger to Winnie, Texas project. Attained
security clearance for performance of project.

Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Manager
