To meet CESR regulations S&P has to implement a process to address CESR requirements, which is to make available raw data about credit ratings issued in the past 10 years including all EU endorsed ratings. After the first batch, this information needs to be provided on a 6 month periodic basis (semi annually). The Primary objective of this project is to comply with regulatory requirements and ensure that data collection, transformation, packaging and delivery is being done within the specified time periods. Internal verification and approval or the information is required before submitting the data. As the primary BA I was responsible for eliciting requirements using Agile methodology.

One of the many services Deutsche Bank’s (DB) Prime Brokerage (PB) business provides its hedge fund clients is securities financing. The calculation of the related interest charges and borrowing fees is currently handled by two distinct applications – Interest Rate Calculator (IRC), which supports US PB clients, and Eclipse, which supports International PB clients.
The current approach of two calculators suffers from several disadvantages, which include the inability to meet client requirements for consolidated balances across geographies and currencies, the higher costs associated with supporting multiple applications based on differing technologies, as well as other functional deficiencies arising from changes in the underlying PB businesses. New Dashboard GFC (Global Financial Calculator) was designed to over come the deficiencies, disadvantages of legacy systems.

CitiTrak is a Circuit Management System (CMS) that is used by the provisioning team to manage circuit order processing, requisition approval, circuit asset maintenance (including moving, adding, changing circuit features and circuit disconnections; also known as MACD). Within Citigroup, the primary users of the system are from the Provision department and belong to the Network Economics group. CitiTrak has two modules: Order Management and Asset Management System. Currently CitiTrak does not integrate with any external systems online. However, there is a lot of information that comes in and out of CitiTrak. The flow of information is currently achieved manually.
The purpose of the FRD document was to enhance the productivity of CitiTrak by automating many processes. Many fields need to be added to CitiTrak system to get more detailed Reports. The purpose of getting more details is to better track all services, circuits, businesses associated with them, charge accounts, list of vendors, vendor hierarchy and many more enhancements including giving appropriate rights and access to appropriate businesses and departments. Eliminating limitations in CitiTrak and automating many manual procedures will reduce expenses.
