Character Modeler / Animator and Rigger
OBJECTIVE:
To apply my modeling skills and knowledge of 3D animation and rigging into a production pipeline. Be part of a team to reach a common end goal and help the company grow to new heights.
SKILLS:
• Modeling both high and low poly character as well as environments and hard surfaces
• Using proper topology that allows for realistic deformations when animating
• Create own concept art as well as working off the concept art of others
• Unwrapping UV's traditionally in Maya and use third party software to speed up process
• Creating textures in Zbrush, Photoshop, and using Maya's procedural textures
• Strong traditional drawing, sculpting, and painting skills
• Solid understanding of Maya Dynamics including Maya hair, fur, and cloth
• Rigging and skinning both organic characters and hard surfaces models
• Animating in a fast and efficient manner
• A general understanding of Scripting in MEL
• Lighting up scenes using global illumination, HDR Lighting, Raytrace Shadows techniques

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Red Giant - 2010 to 2011
Production manager in charge of keeping team members on schedule. Also was a character modeler and rigger, contributed in modeling and texturing assets.
• Freelance - 2009 to 2011
Assisted in producing flash animation for commercials, came up with concept art for the characters. Created varies logos for clients and was commissioned to do paintings and portraits.
• KTAS-TV 2007 to Present
Master Control and Traffic Manager, in charge of scheduling the times when commercials would running based on clients budget.
