Working with the children to an assigned group. Age ranges 2 to 17.

Description:

Clerical duties such as filing, answering phones, designing and sending out monthly mailing, order office supplies, in charge of company email account.

Send out weekly email calendar using constant contact.com to all of our 350 members to keep them updated on upcoming events and meetings.

Set up monthly member dinner meetings. Make sure everyone is signed up and paid for accordingly.

Write a report day after meeting for the money, and count all checks and credit cards to make sure everyone has paid, using Microsoft Excel.

Set up for in house seminars, classes, and meetings.

Look over, and edit the monthly newsletter.

In charge of the website, updating it frequently using Macromedia Dream weaver MX, adding and deleting members, linking members names to their own website, updating events and press releases.

Keep the member and prospective member database on the computers up to date using Microsoft Access.

Write and send out monthly press releases that go out to newspapers, magazines, television stations, and radio stations on Long Island, as well as freepressrelease.com.

Participate in the promotion of NARI at 12 or more home shows scheduled throughout the year, by setting up and standing at our booth, handling out our magazine and explaining to patrons what NARI is about and how we can help them in finding the right services they need.

Participate in the promotion of NARI at the home shows, setting our for new members, as well as encouraging our members to promote NARI as well as their business at these shows.

Assist members in networking and help use each other for jobs and other needs.

Home Shows: Stony Brook University Home Show, the Nassau Coliseum Home and Garden Show, The Green Living Expo at Suffolk Community College, the Hampton Home and Garden Show, etc.
