Experience: Ms. Guarrasi is a professional computer Programmer/Analyst with over 5 years experience in the IBM midrange environment. She has proven abilities in the design, development and implementation of information systems. Ms. Guarrasi not only has a wealth of IS knowledge, but has experience in other fields that provide her with a strong background to draw upon when working with IS projects and interfacing with Users. Her application experience includes Manufacturing, Financial, Accounting, and Distribution. Ms. Guarrasi has also been an instructor at Columbus State where she taught AS/400 programming and developed the advanced programming and web page design classes. Responsible for general programming, assisted in programming and project management for a major General Ledger system conversion. Responsible for all file conversions. Wrote projection programming for budgeting purposes.
Mapsys, Inc. (2/1998 – 4/2000)
Consultant for several Y2K conversions including the City of Chillicothe and AcuSport. Responsible for validating all code modifications, verifying that all the programs that needed modification were addressed, designing, writing and implementing overall conversion process and performing modification of programs.
AcuSport: Revision of shipping system to include use of USPS.
In house: redesigned Y2K Assessment Tool to increase efficiency and accuracy. Assisted with implementation and analysis of Y2K tool. Responsible for modification of in-house payroll system and implementing move to production.
Dyserv, Inc. (11/1997 – 2/1998)
Responsible for updating tax programs to include tax revisions for the 1997 tax year. RPGII converted to RPGIII.
Columbus State Community College (11/1996 - 9/1997)
Responsible for design, authoring and maintenance of web sites for the Accounting Technology Department (4 sites) including student site the first online course offered by CSCC and design and development of the Computer Science Department web site.

Responsible for re-organization of AS/400 code management systems including development of in-house code movement protocols. Created in-house configuration management procedure manual. Responsible for organization and implementation of module release procedures to minimize client down-time. Team leader for Payroll Module revision team and Human Resources Module development team. Developed procedures for installation of software at client site. Developed tracking system for Program Modification Requests generated through testing using the Microsoft Access relational database program. Also developed tracking system for client hot-line calls using the Microsoft Access relational database program.
Responsible for code movement from programming to testing and production systems, testing, documentation, installation, training and client support. Revised documentation standards and style to improve usefulness to the end user. Completely revised user manual for Payroll module and wrote user manual for Human Resources module.
