Convert existing hardcopy permit location data into GIS layers. Permits will be entered in using the permit file with site maps as the guide. 

The data is broken up into features that include points (approximately 30%), lines (approximately 40%) and polygons (approximately 30%). 

Perform editing to existing GIS map data, create new coverage for permitted Right of Way (ROW) facilities currently unavailable electronically, and with the District IT program, make data viewable and useable District-wide on Google Earth.  

Production based environment which includes reading and understanding of legal descriptions and construction/engineering drawings. Frequently used COGO to find locations of utilities encroaching the ROW.
