DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:

I strongly feel that research-based concepts never fail and designing can be restructured as 99% research and 1% creativity. With an amalgamated society upbringing, I like my designs to be a kaleidoscope of what scenarios are currently prevalent around us .I basically believe in realistic and wearable designs. As a learning individual I believe that basic elements of design and the Design Process form the basis of any artwork.

OBJECTIVES:

As an individual, my vision is to enhance the core-ships and basics of designing or for that fact “Concept Building”. I want to grab the maximum opportunities and enhance my skills such as surface ornamentation and illustration and contribute to the organization during the tenure of my stay at the organization.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursued a design graduate diploma with a major in fashion designing from National Institute Of Fashion Technology (mohali INDIA).

• Class 10th from CONVENT OF JESUS AND MARY Shimla. (INDIA)

• Class 12th from St. BEDES COLLEGE Shimla. (INDIA)

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:

• Worked as a HEAD DESIGNER at Anaya by Simran kumar for 8 months in NEW DELHI (INDIA)

• As a part of the curriculum, covered the craft oriented state MADHYA PRADESH to revive and re-emphasize the lost craft scenario in India. In tenure of 2 weeks did research on the various crafts and prepared a document and design solutions thereby covering one of the most prominent crafts of the country.

• Further, interest in incorporating the craft in the design aspects of my future course of studies.

• As a part of the college module attended a 3 days’ workshop on best out of waste and made garments and accessories out of waste materials.

• As a part of the curriculum made two TERM GARMENTS on the provided themes.

• Made end products using various techniques of SURFACE ORNAMENTATION.

• Attended a 2 weeks module to learn the basics of photography in college and entrepreneurship/marketing basics.

• Done back staging for the annual college fashion show ‘ ANUKAMA”.

• Done 6 weeks internship from India’s leading export house ORIENT CRAFT LTD.(INDIA)

• WORKED on the design collection for college’s annual fashion show ‘ANUKAMA’

• Working as a freelancer for a design studio in Patiala (INDIA) and Chandigarh (INDIA)
